Our objective are: Conduct a Physical Education (PE), Erect and paint the playground & Plan and execute the Sport Day for the three schools. And this project is called:
The first few days, we visited the home stay and our host told us the stories that through bad time, the cultural and the utilities and we have learn how to converse.
Not long we visited the 3 schools. Trapeng Po, Klok Kambot & Koh Trach.
The first school was Trapeng Po. The kids were excited and we there to survey the school. We greet them the kids by Jim Reap Sourl (Hello) and Sok Sabai The (How are you?) They normally respond Sabai (fine) but sometime they laugh at our pronunciation.
Than the final school is Koh Trach where we were late and the student have been dismiss.
Or Else They Have To Write Line In Khmer Like Mr Rum...Than we visited a few of the temple unfortunate I forget to bring my camera as result I got to steal a few picture. Angkor Wat is one of the main tourist attraction in Cambodia.
Than the PE Lesson have started and here afew shot from the 3 school.
Of cause daily there is reflection and I like how our advisor (Fazz & Yihua) bought up a very good point of view to reflect.
Than the most exciting part is the Sport Day soon arrive but my team mate, Wei Jing & Terence, they too are headache because it is challenging to meet the demand of the prize giving logistic side. So we cut down few participant that took part of each tele-match and decided any age could play to reduce our stress. But final we overcome it and our team sort out the gift. But the day have arrive and we have at least 500 student excited waiting at 0700 where we arrive at 0830. They simply cant wait for the game to start. Here afew snap shot:
The day is over and of cause we must have shopping to pamper ourself…
Than we leave Siem Reap and move forward to south-east Phnom Penh. Just a short domestic flight, 45 mins. We arrive and visit their historical site…
The killing field just have that huge presence. The place we are in 2 Million of innocent victim died and we just kept quiet and pay respect. But indeed is and eye-opening site…
Not long the last few shooping and we head home. But the next day we celebrate and have a drink in Singapore.
But till now I do miss the trip but it always bought back memories and smile when I read this special and personal postcard...
When giving someone a helping hand, the most rewarding is to see their smile. But there one thing I learn that the power of access we have. We could give a helping hand to the society out there by making a big difference. Now we have giving an idea how PE Lesson should be and therefore, most likely they will carry on the trend there. Remember with great power come with great responsibilities. Is how we use it that make it effective that leave a heart-warming impact out there in the society...
