Day 4 of Kuala Lumpur - Makan & Shopping

Meanwhile, the last day

in Kuala Lumpur as kind of upset as I did not really met all my Malaysian friend. Yes, is my fault that I told them last minute. But not to worry, soon I will be back there. Anyway it is 0800 and I check out from my guest house. I left and head to my bestie hotel where having breakfast at Dorset Regency. The breakfast buffet was pleasant but not pleasant when come to sushi and scramble egg.

Later we went for a swim and here the shot of Miss Farah & Me.

Spidy wanna surprise her a birthday gift by doll and flower but it did not turn out a surprise because we took a rest in the hotel. Is cute whereas Spidy trying to chase us out by shopping at Berjaya Time Square. But we dilly dally the time as result the hotel staff came at 12 noon. Soon we check out, we went shopping at Berjaya Time Square and KLCC Suria Mall. She shop for shoe and baju at Factory Outlet Store.

Went to Kampong Bahru for lunch and later we left Kuala Lumpur and head all the way home. It was 160KM/H and it was fast trip back home.

But guess who was waiting for a surprise at JB for a second surprise birthday party for Farah?

Indeed it was a last minute trip to Kuala Lumpur and I did not expect me to be there all sudden. But I would love to head back KL one of these day. It is indeed a unique city. I always believe that each city is unique in it own waysand it motivate me to backpack.

Reflection of Randomness

So, I guess we are who we are for a lot of reasons. And maybe we'll never know most of them. But even if we don't have the power to choose where we come from, we can still choose where we go from there. We can still do things. And we can try to feel okay about them.

Day 3 of Kuala Lumpur - Hotel Down To Street Food

It was very late. So late that anytime the sunrise. I slept like 7am and slept till 1pm. I met Miss Elyna and her friend for Nasi Ayam at Bukit Bintan area. The Chicken Rice was nice and thanks for the treat Miss Elyna. Later on in the afternoon, went to meet Farah at Dorset Regency opposite Pavilion. Went to view her room and see the hotel facility. Instead we took some funky shot in the hotel.

After the view of the hotel, we took a cab and meet all the wonderful friend of Miss Hazlina. They make time of us to try their street food in the heart of Kuala Lumpur. But unfortunate, Farah got food poisoning from there.

Is always nice that after dinner we will celebrate a birthday for Miss Farah. The celebration held at bistro 69. Just behind Berjaya Time Square.

After that I heard to the club whereas the rest got high by drinking beer.

My dear child, I have known you for almost 9 years.
In fraction of my life span that 2/5.
Change is part of nature, but not in friendship.
Early in the morning, I always thanks someone above,
To meet a great friend like you.

We sometime can be insane, upset, happiness
But those memory are simply priceless.
But my heart and instinct told me that I might know you
Till the end of my life.

But thanks Miss Farah,
For begin part of my life,
For trusting and sharing,
Keeping me laughing and smiling,
Lending me a shoulder when crying,
Listening ear when problem arising,
Begin there for me when there is loneliness.

Well the list can go long but

HAPPY BIRTHDAY MISS FARAH.

Random Reflection:

"Are you happy?" is such a difficult question I always say yes, because I have friends I laugh at jokes, I go out a lot and have fun. My life isn't as bad as it could be, and I don't have terrible problems. It could be worse.

But then, one night at 3 am when I'm alone, still awake, lying in bed, thinking about life, I find myself crying my heart out. Suddenly I convince that nobody likes me, or nobody will ever like me. I feel horrible and I question everything I had.

And I don't know if I was ever happy at all.

Day 2 Of Kuala Lumpur - Imbi, Masjid Jemak & Kampong Bahru

Finally is the day to bowl at Ampang Bowling that is located at Berjaya Time Square just beside Sugnai Wang and Imbi Monorail Station. They took their journey about 1 hours. Because of the Malaysia Election and is always jam at this particular tourist shopping district I was smoking at my guest house and awaiting for their location update. I realize I have been cheated when I puschase the Sim Card at Bukit Bintan Plaza (BB Plaza) which I paid RM28. Anyway I have learn my lesson and I will now know that it should not cost more than RM10.

Before waiting for our turn to bowl, we got to wait like 30 min. So we tried the ride at Berjaya Time Square.

After the ride, went to play Bowling and I realize my skill suck after that I have not played for so long. RM8 per game and the shoe keeper was strict to inspect that you have wore sock as part of the requirement. Feeling hungry we decided to go Masid Jamek. But I did not know Zaidi eldest sister have not took their monorail or train before. She more to the bus type. So we have a little taste of those tourist backpacker.

Haha, I love this picture as her expression is like, "Are we taking the correct line?"

We have arrive the station after switching another train line. Their switiching line is not what you thought like City Hall or Raffles Place Station in Singapore. You need to exit the station, walk under the shelter pathway and make the payment again in another line. Each train line under different train company.

Since it is Saturday, there be a street market. I always wanted to try their street food and see their street market. It was huge and indeed we did not have time to explore all of them but anyway I tried all their food which I did not tried before in my previous trip.

This is what I bought:

Satay Ikan
Fried Popia

Beef Stick With Some Veggie

Went to took the bus at the MayBank headquater and back to Berjaya Time Square. Reached my guest house and yesterday slept at 4 AM and awake by morning 10 AM, I simply doze off in afternoon nap like 5pm. Awake around 7pm, I realize Intan kept on calling me and message afew time asking, 'where my hotel?' Or 'where I'm?' But nerveless, I kept in touch and went off for dinner at Kampong Bahru.

Reflection By Random:

I have been slacking around. Is a waste of time. Is either I wait for opportunity or find for one. But both action have pro and con. I am not daydreaming but based on my experience, good job always come to me but maybe I was lucky last time. Maybe luck is not my side, and I just need to find job on my own now.

Day 1 of Kuala Lumpur - Host Family & Shisha Away

I was with Ferrah and two of her other friend. Before that, I was with Wabul and Aaron having drunk talk. All these before 0730 on Friday morning off to KL. I reach home like 0530 and pack my bag, begging my mum for the budget of this trip and wash up within an hour. But I would expect that we would be late as Spidy fetch me around 0700 and Farah came down like 1000. We left the place and full spped to KL at the speed of 180 km/h and felt uneasy to sleep within that speed. But we had A&W and I was always glad to have that meal.

We reached at KL around 1630 and I was finding my guest house. It seem no one knew what street they

even lived on. I had trouble finding my guest house and it drizzel. Also I start to realize that I am in the unsafe zone part of Bukit Bintan.

I paid about RM45 per night at Funky Town guest house. Haha... Not many of my friend knew this place. But is like Clark Quay & Geylang mixture if I put the same analogy in Singapore. When I reach the staff were surprise that I booked the room online as they have no longer Single Room. So instead they give me Double Room in Single Room rate. I am consider lucky.

Visit Your Host Family

I went there and I realize so many changes. My dearest friend, Zaidi got married on 1st December 2012. The family show me the picture. Also we chatted alot of thing about my life and theirs too. Their Samosa and Minature Popia, perfect snack. Anyway I had dinner at their place and soon got to went off. But I will see them the next day as we plan to have bowling and street market.

Shisha With SMYC 12th

I realize that when ever I visit KL, Meeting up with them, the member also reunion. Is like, it time to stop what ever you are doing and meet up. Catch up each other. Is been sometime and I am glad I am still meeting them. But in Singapore, I have not keep in touch with other. Anyway went to have Shisha and lepak till 0400. Went back home and Knock Out.

Random Reflection:

I need to motivate. I have not been gym for a week. Since I am back from KL, I gonna gym 6 days straight. From 24 April onward. Also I still not sure what I wanna do with my life. I think I am lazy and giving excuse to cover it up.

Search of Food Scraps

Each morning, like clockwork, they board the subway, off to begin their daily routine amidst the hustle and bustle of the city.

But these aren't just any daily commuters. These are stray dogs who live in the outskirts of Moscow Russia and commute on the underground trains to and from the city centre in search of food scraps.

Then after a hard day scavenging and begging on the streets, they hop back on the train and return to the suburbs where they spend the night.

Experts studying the dogs, who usually choose the quietest carriages at the front and back of the train, say they even work together to make sure they get off at the right stop – after learning to judge the length of time they need to spend on the train.

Scientists believe this phenomenon began after the Soviet Union collapsed in the 1990s, and Russia’s new capitalists moved industrial complexes from the city centre to the suburbs.

Dr Andrei Poiarkov, of the Moscow Ecology and Evolution Institute, said: “These complexes were used by homeless dogs as shelters, so the dogs had to move together with their houses. Because the best scavenging for food is in the city centre, the dogs had to learn how to travel on the subway – to get to the centre in the morning, then back home in the evening, just like people.”

Dr Poiarkov told how the dogs like to play during their daily commute. He said: “They jump on the train seconds before the doors shut, risking their tails getting jammed. They do it for fun. And sometimes they fall asleep and get off at the wrong stop.”

The dogs have also amazingly learned to use traffic lights to cross the road safely, said Dr Poiarkov. And they use cunning tactics to obtain tasty morsels of shawarma, a kebab-like snack popular in Moscow.

With children the dogs “play cute” by putting their heads on youngsters’ knees and staring pleadingly into their eyes to win sympathy – and scraps.

Dr Poiarkov added: “Dogs are surprisingly good psychologists.”
