Hospitality Of Batam
It was an insane night as Mr Wilsen and I were hopping group to group in the club. Met Roslan, was such a great fellow and after that Joel, where he told his experience and happily drinking beer. But unusual a group of uncle join us and kept on disturb us. But is kind of Joel to protective in our group. Later we met our old friend, Miss Wong, Miss Lai and Terrence. They were dancing with us but as usual when I and Wilsen were high, our bitchy level is high too. After that we took a rest and went off to dance again but this time is a ground of stranger girls where just pull us and dance with us. Screaming and hyperactive attitude that make our night enjoyable. After that we took a rest all the way to 1100 and we went off to another world, that is Batam.
When we arrive we met Har, and his driving haha... But anyway we went to one of the restaurant, and ate Nasi Padang. It was an interesing dish and unique taste. Harldy tried Indonesia food but I wanna try an authentic originality Indonesian food. Now I know why they kept on saying that when even you full, you would still continue eating. Because is just simple delicious but yet about SGD $30. Wanted to meet Eva but sadly she is having fever. I hope she recover well...
Wilsen wanted to makeover me but I decline because it was kind of finance constrain as I dont really wanted to window shopping. So she bring me to his hair salon and it was kind of nice place to take our break just right after lunch. We were playing and candie shot in the salon. Finally after wash my hair and I look like those bitchy diva and we were taking candie shot again.
After that the hairstylist told me that she wanna cut something neat, presentable but yet style. I am okay with anything and just give me surprise. Everyone were so silent and focusing on me while she style and trim my hair. I hate silent so I tried to strike a conservation
But the price is reasonable and it just simple cost about $20 to $25. It a same skilled hairstylist in Singapore it might cost $50 to about $100 plus. Because you paid a one particular person plus the own styling room.
We went to shopping and I totall forgot the mall name but there was a sale and of cause we forget our own world and entering the world of shopaholic.
Went to the Batik shop where all the Indonesia culture clothe is. Some of them we were investigating how to wear those appeal as come in funny shape of function such as robe but yet formal. But of cost the price tag scare us.
We went to mush formal and western wear and trying each outfit. After awhile, just try the appeal whereas you do not need to pay. Is not sound cheap but is to test the market. Hahaha... I kind of pity Har as a Gent Appeal wear is just simply too big for him.
I went to Har House to put my stuff. As I enter his house, I smell baking cake. I wonder what it is and the Mun apparently making some cake as a tibit for the family.
Wilsen lost in his Dota world while he playing Har Laptop where as I and Har were resting and chatting away to update our-self. So we went to fetch June, one of Har bestie and gonna have a dinner. Is Wilsen turn to plan a local dinner outing and he recommend this place where they sell fried pork and sour gravy. It was nice and remind me one of the cuisine in Thailand.
The way they make the coffee is sweet but just that the procedure of making coffee can never filter all the coffee bean. We in the mood of Window shopping and head off to Megamall which they call it. And we window shop and tried the appeal, as there were this saying, instead of 'shop till you drop' but instead, 'Try, Wear, Bargain Till You Drop'.
After the window shopping we went to buy Batik appeal because we saw a sale that stated buy 2 get 1 free as just nice there is 3 of us. Also we one of the last few in the department stall. And we kept on flicked minded to buy or not as time not in our side. So ended up we bought it and it cost about $10 per piece if I cant be mistaken.
Also we saw a car driving out of the mall. Later we went to have a beer in one of the local outdoor pub where there are famous for homemade beer and exotic food such as crocodile meat, snake meat, bat meat, etc. We tried bat meat as I have never tried before. The meat kind of taste of chicken liver with combination of meat.
Obese Caucasian striping off at the headlight and full of heavy smoker in the club. Music blast and dance like no tomorrow. Therefore Wilsen and June enjoy at the dance floor as I and Har the judge and scan the floor if there any scene and how do the crowd react to the unique of Wilsen dance. But there only one thing I dont like the club is the music simply too loud or maybe I am just simply too tired as today was a long, long day. We head home about 0230 after sending June and Wilsen Back. Reach my target time to sleep, 0300, Succeed.
I work up about 1000 and Har busy playing Facebook. Hahaha... So we waited until we decide have breakfast cook by Har Mum. It was nice and homely food as mother food is always the best. Joan came to fetch us and we went to Wilsen house to fetch him. Later about 45 min drive went to a nice place out in the sea for seafood lunch.
I choose the crab and trying to understand the pricing making sure not more than the budget. So we bought a fish, crab of red spicy chili and a black pepper. Also as we were waiting for the food we took lot of candie shot with a nice seaview.
But it was nice and knowing this might be the last meal of the day. And indeed the time flew by fast. But the chili crab I just simply cant take the spiciness.
So we head to the final place that is Batam Megamall. We going to have a KTV and a tea time that is donut. As our ferry is booked already at 2030 (Batam Time) so we were killing time and is already 3pm. The KTV, they simply love to sing Lady Gaga and the song in the 90s. Also love the way they sing is just be yourself. After the KTV and it cost Rp55000 we when to had a donut and finally there is a wifi. So chitchat till the sunset but time seem to flew by fast :(
